Down the Rabbit Hole

Popping my post cherry with some good old theoretical physics, because science is fun!

What if every black hole contained a universe? What if our own universe were to be contained in the black hole of another universe?

It tickles my brain to think that we might actually be contained inside of a black hole right now, and that there may be an infinite amount of universes, within universes, within universes, and on and on. It really is a remarkable thought when you consider that astronomers roughly estimate that there are at least  100-billion known galaxies in our known universe, and almost all of which are theorized to contain super-massive black holes much like the one that resides in the center of our home galaxy- The Milky Way.

All these little white specs are galaxies or galaxy clusters

These are some interesting questions which scientists are currently working together to answer, and would lead to some intriguing answers about the big bang, and the unifying theory of cosmology  (really big objects such as our universe and how it works)to quantum physics (really small stuff like atoms, string theory, quantum foam etc.)
